Terms & Conditions of Service

At Cove Power, we believe in transparency, professionalism, and clear communication. This page outlines our terms of service, including appointment policies, billing, service standards, and warranty information. By booking an appointment or requesting service, you acknowledge and accept the following terms and consent to the collection of your personal information as described below.
Appointment and Cancellation Policy

Please allow a 30-minute window before or after your scheduled appointment time.

To reschedule or cancel your appointment, contact our office at 604-218-3375 at least 24 hours in advance.

Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment — including when access to the site is denied, the client is unavailable, or the appointment is missed — are subject to a $125 + tax cancellation fee.
Service Call Rates

Standard Service Call
-
$290 for the first hour (or portion thereof) for one electrician
-
$180/hour for each additional hour per electrician

Emergency Service Call (by request)
-
$470 for the first hour (or portion thereof) for one electrician
-
$280/hour for each additional hour per electrician

GST and materials are not included in hourly rates
-
Billing begins when the electrician is dispatched. Travel time for picking up materials or returning to the site is also billable.
Work Standards and Exclusions

All work is completed to meet the latest Canadian Electrical Code and applicable municipal bylaws.

Unless otherwise noted, the following are not included in our scope of work:

Painting or patching of drywall or wallpaper

Coring or placing of concrete
-
Fire-stopping or sealant application
-
Removal or filling of earth or sand

Drywall removal and disposal

Exterior venting
-

Returns of unused materials are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Regular operating hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Labour performed outside these hours is billed at 1.5x service call rates.
Warranty

We offer a one-year warranty on workmanship and materials supplied and installed by Cove Power.

Manufacturer warranties may apply, though service charges may apply for warranty-related visits.
Payment Terms

Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.

Credit card (please call our office to make a payment by credit card; a 4% processing fee applies to payments over $1,000)
- Note: We’re unable to split payments between credit card and e-transfer. We only accept one payment method per transaction.

Late Payments

Subject to 2% monthly interest (24% annually)

Legal and collection fees are chargeable at 1.5x actual cost
-
Inspections may be delayed until all outstanding payments are resolved

Consent & Agreement
By requesting service from Cove Power, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions. You also consent to the collection of your personal information for the purpose of providing electrical services and maintaining accurate billing and communication.
